Virtual Kansas City Chess Camp (online)

Online Youth Summer 2022 Camp (Virtual)

Who: Camps are open to all students of all skill levels from Kindergarten through 8^th Grade. Students from anywhere in the world can participate.  

When: August 1^st thru 4^th

Time: Monday—Thursday (1PM -3PM Central Time)

Location: Zoom and Chess.com

Cost: $107 per student.

Camp Agenda:

• Designed to introduce youth to chess strategy and tactics while having fun.
• Coach Fee and Coach Mike Tinsley will show beginners through advanced students how to improve their play.
• Daily activities will include casual play, chess lessons and training exercises, National Rated competition games,
• Bughouse and Fischer Random Chess.
• All levels are welcome!

General Camp Schedule: CAMP SCHEDULE (ALL TIMES Central Time)

1PM – 1:15PM  Warmup Time (Puzzles)

1:15PM – 1:45PM Interactive Lesson Time

1:45PM -2:15PM  Tournament Games

2:15PM - 2:30PM  Post-Game Analysis

2:30PM - 3:00PM Chess Variant Tournament
